The HoBOOken 5K relies on the help of our amazing volunteers from the local community.
Our volunteers ensure the safety of runners and spectators and the smooth running of Hoboken Shelters biggest fundraising event.
Volunteer positions include:
- Start and Finish Marshals
- Course Marshals
- Bag Check Attendants
- Water Station/Post-Race Food Attendant
- Lead Cyclist
- Event Photographers
WHAT TO EXPECT
Prior to Race Day volunteers will receive a “cheat sheet” with all the information they will require for Race Day.
On Race Day volunteers will check in at their designated time at the Volunteer Stand in the Race Village on Pier A. Volunteers will receive a short briefing from the Volunteer Coordinator before being dispatched to stations.
